The Conservation Commission oversees the local implementation of the state Wetlands Protection Act and Rivers Protection Act. The Commission also oversees the implementation of the City's Open Space Plan and holds several conservation areas. The Commission typically meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 50 Payson Avenue.
